Mukhra Development
Mukhra development (mukhra vistar/मुखड़ा विस्तार) means creating different kinds of tihai, tukra, and chakradar forms from a single mukhra.
All advanced classical tabla players can do this to some extent, though not all teachers teach it in the same way. Chhotelal was very systematic in his approach.
