Performance-Style Kaharawa Theka with Laggi
Below are a few performance-style kaharawa thekas and improvisations. In the improvisations, Rajneesh Tiwari gives short solos with laggis which are typical of light-classical accompaniment.
Main Theka
Below is the main theka, followed by a number of variations on this theka. The improvised performances afterwards use the same, or similar thekas.
Note that this particular theka is one of many that could have been chosen for this demonstration. See the Kaharawa Theka Variations page for examples of other styles.

Short Performances – Theka with Laggi
The following performances are short, improvised tabla solos in kaharawa tal. They are typical examples of solos you might hear in light-classical accompaniment.
Each solo includes kaharawa theka (same or similar to the Main Theka above) from single into double time, followed by improvised laggis and a tihai. The first video includes a written guide to what is played.
